SIERRA GARRISON

A Vancouver girl born and raised, Sierra Garrison grew up frequenting local restaurants with her family and friends. From a very young age she was intrigued by the bustling restaurant industry and all of its wonders. Some of her earliest memories with her family include going out to dine for special occasions and how this experience would always bring people together, even at the busiest times of year. 

These fond memories played a large part in Sierra kicking her career off in the restaurant industry at the age of 13 as a hostess at a local restaurant. From the get-go she was enthralled by the exciting pace of the front of house environment and had a desire to work her way up into various roles throughout the restaurant and advance her skills. 

Sierra excelled in the industry throughout her teenage years and early 20’s from lead server roles to the role of General Manager at Mila Plant Based in Chinatown where she dedicated herself to leading a team to excellence and fostering a positive, connected culture amongst staff. She also has had the opportunity to expand her horizons in management roles around the city where her love for the industry has deepened even further. Her passion for people and a desire to mentor others has become a driving factor for her management style and she believes that with a happy team, a restaurant is unstoppable. 

Adoration for people, experience, incredible food, great wine, and dynamic cocktails is what brought Sierra to join the team at Published. It feels like a true “shoe-fit” for her and she could not be happier to be continuing her career leading a team who is striving for excellence daily and truly love what they do.
